We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our core team and play a key role in shaping the logic, performance, and architecture of our fraud prevention engine.This role involves developing high-performance backend services using Node.js within a distributed microservices environment on Kubernetes, optimizing latency and reliability at scale, and collaborating closely with Data Scientists and Data Analysts to continually improve our decision-making systems.You’ll be joining a company that provides an AI-driven fraud prevention solution focused on behavioral patterns — enabling real-time detection and prevention with exceptionally high approval rates and a chargeback guarantee.
What we’re looking for:
• 6+ years of backend development experience
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Proven experience working with NoSQL document stores (e.g., MongoDB, Couchbase)
• Hands-on experience with streaming or messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, etc.)
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
• Experience working with at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Proactive mindset, curiosity, and a strong sense of ownership
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Relevant academic background or equivalent hands-on experience
Nice to have:
• Experience with DevOps tooling such as Kubernetes, Terraform, or Helm
• Familiarity with Python
• Background in machine learning concepts
