We’re looking for a skilled and experienced R&D Manager to lead a growing company’s tech team. This role includes direct management of the Data Engineering and Platform teams, close collaboration with the CTO and VP of Product, and driving both innovation and precise execution of the company’s technology roadmap.This is a strategic position combining senior leadership with hands-on technical involvement. You’ll be responsible for building development, testing, and production deployment processes, continuously improving practices, and leading the team to meet the highest standards of quality and performance.You will play a key role in the company’s flagship Cyber Security Governance product, working with technologies like Snowflake, Temporal, Airbyte, Python, Node.js, TypeScript, and more. Key qualifications:

• At least 3 years of direct engineering team management
• Strong previous hands-on development experience (5+ years)
• Full stack expertise, with strong command of Python
• Proven track record in building and leading complex, data-heavy systems
• Strong business acumen and ability to align tech with product and customer needs
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment – significant advantage
• Background in data architecture or engineering – advantage
• Experience with cybersecurity products or cyber data – strong advantage
• Second-line management experience (managing team leads) – advantage
