We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer with a strong combination of applied research and engineering capabilities to lead the AI core of LLM based conversational agents. This is a hands on role with end to end ownership of the AI lifecycle, from architecture and KPI definition, through model development, fine tuning and evaluation, to deployment, monitoring and continuous optimization in production. You will work in a fast moving startup environment, closely collaborating with engineering teams, with direct impact on the product and real world healthcare use cases.
Key Responsibilities
Research and Innovation
Stay up to date with advancements in LLMs, generative AI and multi agent systems
Experiment with new approaches and evaluate their effectiveness in real world scenariosPrompt Engineering
Design, test and optimize prompts to achieve reliable and accurate conversational behavior
Build prompt libraries, templates and automated testing frameworksModel Development and Optimization
Adapt LLMs to specific product use cases
Optimize models for performance, accuracy and cost efficiencyEvaluation and Measurement
Define KPIs for conversational agent quality and effectiveness
Build evaluation frameworks to monitor and continuously improve production performanceEngineering and Deployment
Design and maintain production ready AI pipelines in Python and optionally Node.js
Work with large scale data including ingestion, preprocessing and analysis
Integrate AI components into the product architecture in close collaboration with the engineering team
Must Have
Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, AI ML, Mathematics or a related field
At least 4 years of professional experience developing in Python Node.js is a plus
Proven applied research experience in LLMs, NLP or conversational AI
Strong experience deploying AI models to production and iteratively improving them based on real world feedback
Expertise in prompt engineering and multi agent systems
Solid understanding of performance metrics and evaluation methodologies for AI agents
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a small collaborative team
